Product · Waterfall enrichment

Every lead, every source, one verified answer.
Pay only when it hits.

No single data source has everyone. Waterfall enrichment asks several of them in sequence for each lead, verifies what comes back, and stops at the first valid email or mobile number. It runs on any list you have, from a CSV to a LinkedIn campaign, and as a step inside a sequence so an email follows the connection request only when an address exists.

Illustrative run · one credit per verified email or mobile · misses are free

What it does

  • Several sources, one request

Each lead goes through a chain of data sources, one after the other. The chain stops at the first verified result, so the cheap sources answer most of the volume and the rest only run when needed.

  • Emails and mobiles

Work emails, and mobile numbers for the leads you want to call. Ask for either or both per list.

  • Verified before it counts

Every address is checked before it is returned. Catch-all domains are flagged so you can decide whether to send to them.

  • Pay on hit

Credits are spent on verified results only. A lead that no source can find costs nothing.

  • A step in the sequence

Add Enrich lead between LinkedIn and email steps. Branch on the outcome: if an email was found, send it; if not, stay on LinkedIn.

  • Any list

CSV imports, Sales Navigator searches, database results and leads already in a campaign can all be enriched, in bulk or one at a time from the inbox.

How it works

  1. 01

    Pick the list

A CSV, a saved search, a campaign audience, or the leads who accepted a connection this week.

  2. 02

    Choose what to find

Work email, mobile, or both. Set whether catch-all addresses count as found.

  3. 03

    Let the waterfall run

Each lead moves through the sources in order and stops at the first verified answer. You watch the found count climb in real time.

  4. 04

    Use it

Results land on the lead and flow into the next step of the sequence, a CSV export, or your CRM through the API.

How it runs

In order, cheapest first, stop on the first hit.

The sources are ordered by cost and hit rate, and the chain is tuned as results come in. A lead that the first source knows never reaches the second. A lead nobody knows is marked not found, and nothing is charged. Every result records which position in the chain answered, so coverage can be audited list by list.

  • Sequential, not parallel: later sources only run when earlier ones miss.
  • Verification sits between the source and you; unverifiable addresses are not returned as found.
  • Catch-all domains are returned with a flag, never silently as valid.

Inside a campaign

Enrich when it matters, not before.

Most teams enrich a whole list up front and pay for people who never engage. In a Cadency sequence the enrichment step can sit after the LinkedIn steps, so credits are spent only on leads who accepted the connection or replied. The branch that follows decides what happens: email found, send the email; not found, continue on LinkedIn or hand the lead to a rep.

  • Enrich lead is a step in the catalogue, next to the LinkedIn and email steps.
  • Conditions on the result: email found, mobile found, catch-all, not found.
  • The found address is used by the email steps of the same sequence, from the rotated mailboxes.

Quality

Deliverability starts with the list.

Bounces hurt every mailbox in the rotation, so enrichment and sending are built together. Verified addresses go straight into the sequence; catch-all domains can be routed to a slower cadence or excluded; anything that later bounces is fed back so the same address is never returned as valid again.

  • Bounce feedback loop across the workspace.
  • Duplicates and people already contacted are excluded before credits are spent.
  • Results are exportable and available through the API, one field per source and status.

Questions

Before you ask.

What does waterfall enrichment cost?+

It runs on credits, spent per verified email or mobile found. Misses are free. The rate is shared on the access call and is the same on both plans.

Which data sources are used?+

A chain of established B2B data providers, ordered by cost and hit rate and adjusted over time. We do not publish the list; every result shows which position in the chain answered, so coverage is auditable.

Can I enrich leads that are already in a campaign?+

Yes. Add an Enrich lead step to the sequence, or select leads in a campaign or the inbox and enrich them in bulk. The result is stored on the lead and used by the following steps.

Does it find personal emails?+

Work emails and mobile numbers. Personal email addresses are not returned.

Can I use it through the API?+

Yes. Enrichment is available as an endpoint and as a step in campaigns created through the API, with the same per-hit billing.
